SEEMS TO ME - NCAA looking for reason for 5/8 rule

 Earlier this year, we initiated a periodic column that would look at issues currently impacting college basketball and/or recruiting. The column has been on leave for quite a while. Today, we resume that initiative with a look at one issue, the problems with the 5/8 scholarship limitation rule that were not resolved when the NCAA Division I Basketball Issues Subcommittee had a teleconference meeting this week.
